Description: | | We are looking for an individual to work as a machine builder to assemble the machines that we design in our air conditioned facility.
You would work with other trades such as electrcians and various engineers to work as a team and get the job done right. | Duties: | | - Bend, flare and assemble hydraulic tubing
- Make hydraulic hoses
- sweat copper
- lay out components in a test machine so that they are optimally functional and servicable.
- Assemble fixturing
| Qualifications: | | This individual must have good communication skills and willing to work overtime when required.
Hands on practical experience is important in the following areas:
- Reading hydraulic prints
- Understanding of fittings (NPT, SAE, Flare, etc.)
- Bending and flaring tube (plumbing)
- Troubleshooting hydraulics
- Understanding the manufacturing environment
- Communicating with people
- Simple fabrication such as drilling and tapping holes, making brackets or braces
- Ability to MIG or TIG weld
- Work constructively with others to achieve a common goal
