Description

Position Duties:

Position will report to Project Director or Lead Project Manager

  • Works closely with customer, and supplier's staff to ensure the successful development and implementation of Station Readiness Layouts.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives, and projects which affect tooling/equipment processes
  • Using project management skills to tracks, record, and develop reports on project progress and identify and develop solutions for problems encountered during the process in order to meet all critical deadlines.
  • Establish equipment process parameters and work with support engineers, plant safety and corporate safety to develop tooling/equipment layouts from their inception through production.
  • Function as the focal point and Chair weekly Station Readiness meetings

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Moderate knowledge and previous experience of working in Automotive General Assembly Shops specifically Station Layouts and Tooling
  • Moderate knowledge and previous experience with 3D FactoryCad Layouts
  • Fluent in MS Office, specifically Word & Excel
  • Ability to direct and coordinate the Station Readiness process meetings
  • Ability to develop installation drawings for Line Side Equipment & Tooling
  • Ability to develop Bid Packages for the installation of Line Side equipment & Tooling
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
