 DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR JOB DUTIES

 

In the Department of Information Technology, the IT Contract Manager ensures consistent management of all proposals and contracts, which includes oversight of the contract management process, as well as development of specific standards for bidding and submission, and contract negotiations and document management. The IT Contract Manager's role in the contract development process requires close collaboration with various departments, including clinical operations, project management, account management, business operations and finance. The IT Contract Manager will organize and manage repository of IT assets, create and enforce IT Asset Lifecycle process and policies, as well as manage external vendor relations within the IT Organization, assist in RFP, RFQ, RFI processes for both internal and external resources.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

The Department of Technology is seeking applicants that meet or exceed the following criteria:

 

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Public Administration, Business   Administration, Management or a related field; AND
  • Two (2) years full-time paid experience in a contract management role such as purchasing,contract management, or contract compliance in a governmental agency; which must include developing requests for proposals, negotiating terms and drafting contracts; AND
  • Two (2) years full-time paid experience in an information technology/information services environment which must include negotiating Enterprise License and Microsoft agreements.
