This role will help serve our client Corporate Office staff as primary benefit contact.  Must have exceptional presentation and writing skills to facilitate bi-weekly benefits orientation and provide enrollment instruction to Corporate Office associates in group and individual settings.

 Responsible for record maintenance, and process oversight.  Answers questions and assists Corporate associates with problems and claims issues.  Wide range of detailed plan knowledge required, as is establishment and maintenance of carrier contacts according to type of problem presented.  Responsible for administering the Federally mandated COBRA program.

Operates as the internal expert regarding knowledge of and compliance with Federal regulations.  Administrative requirements include record keeping, payment processing, timely notification and carrier eligibility transmissions.  Manage outside administrator for Flexible Spending Account program to assure IRS Section 125 compliance.  Must have detailed knowledge of reimbursable expenses and process.  Responsible for preparation of reports to process monthly carrier premium payments (self-funded & fully insured insurance plans) and other departmental invoices.  

Responsible for administering all direct pay programs for associates on layoff, various leaves of absence, retirees and surviving spouses.  

Conducts monthly audits to ensure that all direct pays are accurately collected and recorded.  Act as primary interface with Insurance Company for Life Insurance claim process.  Validate claim and provide additional detail to allow claim processing. Manage Evidence of Insurability process.  

Manages Benefits WEB administration (resolves issues, authorize new users, directs TPA regarding WEB process flows).  Also oversees supplier interface management (resolves problems, facilitates new interfaces as required).  Project Leader for  Annual Enrollment process to include coordination with benefits supplier, development of written material (letters, e-mails, presentations) and scheduling of associate information sessions as appropriate.  Develops written materials to communicate coverage detail, process and document issues.  Acts as administrative contact for ex-patriate and international associate health care.  Other duties as assigned.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Exceptional analytical, project management, organizational, and time management skills.  Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office.  Experience with Union represented plans, Pension Administration and 401K
