Objective

The R&D Administration Specialist at R&D Strategy & Planning is responsible for the coordination of all product and marketing research and data to support engineering product teams (i.e., Multimedia, Steering, Driving Assistance Systems, Autonomous Driving Systems, Brakes, Lighting, and Integrated Center Stack) in the Research & Development (R&D) groups at the Mobis Plymouth location.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Account Payable
    1. Verify and Process vendor invoices and employee expense reports accurately into SAP
    2. Investigate and resolve accounts payable issues with vendors, employees and purchasing, as required
    3. Assist with month-end and year-end closing in a timely manners
    4. Assist with audits providing supporting documentation
  2. Budget Management
    1. Response for the budget status for expense of each department
    2. Report Monthly budget status and spending to HQ and department managers
    3. Request Budget Carry forward to Finance team end of month
    4. Support budget planning and adjustment
  3. Purchasing
    1. Prepare required documents from vendor
    2. Process of Requesting Approval to register new vendor
    3. Issue a Purchase Order and communicate as regards the payments with vendor
  4. Admin
    1. Prepare documents of Weekly meeting of Managers
    2. Support team admin activities such as CES preparation, workshops and seminars
    3. Serve as secretary of the director

Collaborative Working Relationships

  • Work collaboratively with R & D team members, sales team, HR, GA, IT and finance

Key Tasks

  • Process reimbursement and invoices from vendors and partners
  • Complete AP processes in timely manner

Experience Level

  • Prefer to have experiences in account payable, accounting and administration
  • Prefer to have SAP experience

Educational Requirement

  • Bachelor's Degree

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Familiar with SAP

Language Requirements

  • English and Korean required
