DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR JOB DUTIES
Time Analysts will receive instructions and the supervision necessary to learn field timekeeping and cost allocation procedures. Duties include: preparing, maintaining and reviewing various important personnel records and reports; assigning charges to a large number of accounts; data entry of all cost accounting information; handling field contacts with employees to verify and give information concerning timekeeping and other personnel matters; preparing and verifying payroll for submission; and entering personnel records in the computer system.
A high school diploma or its equivalent; AND
One (1) year of full-time paid clerical experience; AND
A valid State of Michigan driver's license and an acceptable safe driving record. (INDICATE MICHIGAN DRIVER'S LICENSE NUMBER ON APPLICATION).
TYPES OF TESTS
A Written test will be administered covering arithmetical and verbal reasoning, number and name comparison and posting.
