DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR JOB DUTIES
Land Record Analysts work in the Register of Deeds office performing, highly difficult, complex, and responsible work while servicing customers. Typical duties and responsibilities include; reviewing property related records for completeness and compliance with Michigan statutes, registering records in the land records database, searching the land records database for documents, performing extensive and complex property searches using the tract books, and cashiering. Land Record Analysts interact with customers directly at the customer service station and when responding to telephone inquiries. On a daily basis, Land Record Analyst use computers, label makers, image scanners and receipt printers when performing their principle duties and other duties as assigned.

A Written test will be administered covering clerical aptitude, knowledge of office practices and procedures, knowledge of land records and related information.
