Position Skills:

The optimal candidate will have the following experience:

• 2-3 years of recent conveyor layout experience in power and free or friction drive conveyors
  experience with header steel and screen guard layouts.
• Performed cycle time studies.
• Understands chain pull outputs.
• Has had some field support for conveyor installation project (prefer experience with body, paint, and assembly shops)
• Has the ability to travel out of town for 12-18 months. (if needed)
• Has had automotive manufacturing plant conveyor experience.

Position Duties:

• Perform conveyor layouts (paths, header steel, screen guard, etc)
• Perform conveyor engineering studies (cycle time analysis, through put calc's, cording & accumulation studies. chain pull calculations)
• Work with jr. engineers to support conveyor projects.
• Chain conveyor engineering meetings and attend coordination meetings.
• Support conveyor installation projects.
• Review engineering drawings.
• Perform conveyor health assessments.
• Work with project team to coordinate installation activities and review progress.

Computer Skills:

• AutoCAD - Conveyor layouts and installation layouts

Minimum Education:

• High School Degree

Other Requirements:

• Valid Driver's license
