Evaluate current and incoming inventory to determine packaging data, part classification and part attributes
Document and support data entry of part and packaging attributes
Document processes to incorporate best in class inventory practices
Determine root cause for inventory inaccuracies
Support inventory integrity activates including but no limited to: location audits, cycle counts, full physical inventories and system transaction accuracy
Classify parts by family and assist in locating like parts together in the warehouse (slotting)
Evaluate warehouse processes and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Document process changes to improve warehouse practices
Direct associates to support all activities related to inventory and process improvement
Skills and Experience:
Warehouse or distribution center supervisor experience
Inventory control background
Highly motivated and self-starter
Results driven, highly motivated individual with a proven track record of warehouse transformations
