The Division Director of Parks within the Department of Public Services oversees the management and operation of public parks and recreational activities. Responsibilities include developing park programs, managing park staff, ensuring park safety and security, overseeing park maintenance and renovations, facilitating and collaborating with community stakeholders to enhance park services and amenities, formulating policies and providing overall operational direction to the Parks Division staff. This position prepares long-range strategic plans and goals for the Parks Division. This position is instrumental in promoting community engagement, health, and wellness through the provision of quality park services.
