The Clinical Director for Juvenile and Youth Services (JYS) is a pivotal role responsible for the oversight of all clinical treatment, programming, and youth development interventions within Wayne County's juvenile justice system. This encompasses therapeutic services, substance abuse programs, recreational activities, and case management services tailored to the needs of youth involved in the system.
The primary duties of the Clinical Director include coordinating and monitoring all clinical and case management services relevant to each youth's individualized treatment plan, whether in out-of-home or in-home placements.
