DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR JOB DUTIES

The Land Bank Field Service and Data Specialist will conduct field assessments, and record/monitor Land Bank property data. The Field Service and Data Specialist will also analyze Land Bank parcel and market data and suggest project solutions, conduct exterior property inspections, conduct Property Compliance Inspections, locate Blight issues throughout the County, assist with processing, updating, and managing Land Bank Inventory, provide support to Inventory and Operations Director(s), provide professional opinion on structural integrity based on exterior inspection, complete inspection reports in a timely manner, take photographs of properties and vacant land, place signage and post notices, record deeds, and other related duties to assist management team.

ELIGIBLE PERSONS

  • Valid Michigan driver's license; AND
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; AND
  • One to two years of experience conducting field assessments to record and monitor Land Bank property data. Leading and supporting special projects as directed. Analyzing land bank parcel and market data and suggest projects and solutions.
