DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR JOB DUTIES
Under the supervision of the Division Director of Environmental Services Division, the Department Manager 1 provides administrative oversight of various processes; sets goals and deadlines for the division; acquires, distributes, and stores supplies; and analyzes internal processes and recommends and implements procedural or policy changes to improve operations, such as supply changes or the disposal of records. The Department Manager 1 also coordinates personnel requisitions; plans, administers, and controls budgets for contracts, equipment, and supplies; assists in the procurement of goods and services for all Division programs; processes invoices of goods and services for payment; reviews and approves Division staff time; and performs other duties as assigned.
