ELIGIBLE PERSONS


  • Five (5) years of full-time paid clerical experience performing the following duties: data entry, processing and reviewing documents, handling public contact inquiries, providing customer service, and maintaining files.

DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR JOB DUTIES


Call Center Specialist perform highly difficult, complex, and responsible work involving public contact. In the Treasurer's Office, typical duties and responsibilities may include handling public inquiries for information in all aspects of tax-related services, including the auction process, taxpayer assistance, important deadlines, etc., in addition to performing general clerical duties as assigned.


TYPES OF TESTS

A written test (100%) will be administered covering knowledge of basic math skills, general office practices, general clerical practices and procedures and related knowledges Online vitrual testing and testing at Wayne County Community College- Northwest Campus and the Guardian Building is available.
