JOIN OUR TEAM

In the Department of Health, Human and Veterans Services, the Department Manager 2 has the following responsibilities: conduct annual/quarterly program audits to assess compliance with contract requirements for the juvenile justice and prevention services, utilize the JAIS system to collect performance and outcome data on all juvenile contractors, provide technical assistance (TA) to contracting agencies, assist with reviewing/reconciling monthly invoices for the CMO and Prevention programs, attend monthly program meetings, complete monthly metric reports and perform additional duties as assigned.


SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS


A Bachelor's Degree from a recognized college or university with a major in Social Work, Social Welfare, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Human Ecology, Sociology, Family and Child Development, Guidance and Counseling, or Public Administration or Education: AND


At least four (4) years of full-time paid experience as a social service worker, which must include conducting fiscal/financial reviews, case file and JAIS audits, and reconciling and processing monthly expenditure reports.


NOTE: A Master's Degree in one of the areas listed above is preferred.


SPECIAL CONDITIONS

Candidates must pass a criminal background check and obtain an MDHHS Central Registry Clearance.
