Position Duties:

Develop material handling processes, the related layouts, and the labor requirements.
Develop material storage area layouts and perform the related data analysis.
Develop 2D AutoCAD layouts to optimize storage space and workstation requirements.
Follow-up and achieve buy-off on concepts, layouts.
Develop facilities requirements.
Oversee implementation and provide plant support.

Skills and Experience Required:

Must have 8 or more years of industrial/manufacturing engineering experience.
Previous experience using MTM (Methods Time Management) or equivalent system.
Knowledgeable in material systems, material planning, and analyzing PFEP data.
Knowledge of warehouse space optimization strategies.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices.
Must know 2D AutoCAD; Microsoft Access knowledge is preferred.
Must be a team player, pro-active and be able to perform under limited supervision.
Must have strong analytical skills.
Must have strong written and oral skills.
