Develop and manage project budgets, resources and scope according to business priorities.
Develop and maintain backlogs for all product offerings to ensure continual delivery of value to the market and optimized utilization of team members.
Engage and lead technical resources and serve as a key liaison with the business stakeholders and product owners to actively manage prioritization changes.
Ensure appropriate levels of capacity commitment to meet deliverables and provide prioritization direction to team members.
Optimize the Quality Assurance team by appropriately managing the completion of software bugs logged in each Sprint to allow adequate time for the full testing lifecycle.
Manage stakeholder expectations against established engagement and delivery obligations.
Partner with stakeholders and product owners to manage scope and delivery dependencies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
7+ years successfully implementing software development projects using Agile and traditional project management methodologies, while working with multi-function teams with at least 10-15 members including Developers, Business Analysts and Business partners
Experience working as a Senior Project Manager in a fast-paced organization with a start-up mentality.
Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices with the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment.
Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects. PMI-ACP, CSM or equivalent preferred.
Ability to think in the abstract and see how small details fit into the bigger picture with an ability to manage competing demands.
Sufficient level of technical background to provide highly-credible leadership to development teams and to be able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues.
Ability to provide leadership to business analysts and collaborate with customers to deliver solutions with high business value.
Effective interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating and team building.
Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using tools such as DevOps, Jira, Rally or equivalent.
